Southeastern independent office equipment dealer expands Alabama footprint.

RJ Young announced today it has completed the acquisition of ACS Technologies, Inc., a privately-owned office equipment dealer.

Founded in 1975, ACS Technologies has serviced the greater Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Selma areas. The acquisition of ACS Technologies further widens RJ Young’s footprint in Alabama.

All sales and service employees from ACS will remain in Alabama to continue support and service for customer accounts. These employees will join more than 520 employees of RJ Young to assure the continued high expectations of standards in sales and service.

The acquisition closed on March 28, 2017 and RJ Young’s Chris Clark has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager for the Alabama territories.


At present, RJ Young has 27 sales and service branch locations, as well as two distribution warehouses located at its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee and in Jackson, Mississippi. Learn more about RJ Young – A Family Owned Company.

RJ Young is pleased to announce the promotion of Joey Lush to Vice President of Information Technology Services. He previously served as an information technology director for RJ Young, which is the third largest independent office equipment dealer in the Southeast.

Joey is responsible for leading and overseeing information technology infrastructures and strategies while governing company information systems, network, and host security, telecommunications systems and desktop support services.

Joey is a proven leader and has guided RJ Young through the realignment of our IT department,” Chip Crunk said. “Under Joey’s direction, the organization has and continues to benefit in terms of innovating solutions that are not only cost-efficient but also align with the company’s long-term vision. His leadership will be critical for the stability and growth of our company’s technology.”

IT Services was previously split into two teams under the sales and technology departments. Prior to this announcement, the sales arm of RJY lead the external team, which serviced customer accounts. Concurrently, the technology department provided a host of internal companywide technological support channels. Now both external and internal teams will be run by management teams under Lush’s leadership.

RJ Young is pleased to announce the promotion of Harris Delchamps to Director of Integrated Solution Sales. Harris has been with RJ Young for over five years where he previously served as the Director of Managed Print Services.

Harris will lead sales for the IT Services and Software divisions. He will also continue to oversee Managed Print Services. “Assembling the three divisions under the Integrated Solution Sales umbrella is a company first for RJ Young “said Mike Noffsinger, Vice President of Sales. “It is also a pleasure to promote dedicated employees within our organization. Harris is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce & Business Administration. He earned a place in the RJ Young President’s Club for leading sales In 2013-2015. He has volunteered and been part of local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Young Leader Council and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation.
