Who We Are

In 1955, our founder, Robert J. Young, Sr., opened the doors to his Ditto duplicating dealership with only four employees. After twelve years of service to the business community in Middle Tennessee, we grew into the premier, photocopier dealer. In 1986, Robert J. Young, Sr., retired after selling his controlling interest in the company to John T. Crunk, who worked alongside him since 1958. Continuing the tradition of being family-owned and operated, John Crunk earned the position of chairman of the board in 1996. Meanwhile, his son, John T. Crunk, Jr., worked his way up the ranks to president and CEO. In 1999, our company name was condensed from Robert J. Young Company to the present-day RJ Young. Today, John T. Crunk Jr.– who goes by Chip Crunk – continues to lead our organization. While we still provide copiers and printers to organizations throughout the Southeast, we’ve added more than 30 solutions to our menu, all with the vision of being your one-stop for business technology solutions.
