Bindery Operator-1st and 2nd Shift (Nashville, TN)

These Bindery Operators will sit onsite with a Nashville based client in our Print Operations Center on our client’s campus. The second shift will run from approximately 3:30 pm-12:00/12:30 pm.

Summary/Objectives

Responsible for setup and operation of bindery equipment.

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.

Perform manual bindery functions as assigned.

Quality Check finishing and packaging of products.

Assist in training backup support team on bindery equipment.

Stay on top of production deadlines and following the QC processes in place.

Perform other duties assigned in production area.

Organize leftover materials for storage and disposition.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

 

Essential Functions

Operation of bindery equipment such as cutters, hole drills, automatic punch, laminator, coil and spiral binders, velobind, fastback, score/perf/fold equipment, collators, booklet maker, shrink wrap tunnel, padding equipment, etc.

QC finishing jobs.

Ensure Customer satisfaction.

Meet emergency deadlines.

Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.

Operation of various equipment throughout production when needed.

QC destination out the door completion of jobs.

Confidence to work within multiple areas within the organization to deliver projects from concept to completion.

Ability to working on multiple projects at any time.
