Major Goals and Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with day-to-day operations.

Essential Activities

  • Assist managers with the hiring process
  • Post Jobs on RJYoung.com
  • Send IA’s to ECS & Managers
  • Assist with Background Process
  • Coordinate Drug Screens
  • Update the Hire Sheet
  • Enter TN New Hires
  • Complete I-9’s
  • Enter Candidates into HR system
  • Follow-up with New Employees/ Managers on Missing New Hire forms
  • Track New Hire Paper Work
  • Store Personnel Files
  • Sort Terminated Employee Files
  • File Employee Documents into current personnel folders
  • Electronically File Candidate Information Forms
  • Electronically File Payroll documents
  • Extract and Consolidate I-9s
  • Facilitate Incentive Programs
  • Create and Send Birthday Cards
  • Create, mail and deliver Anniversary Certificates
  • Stocking: Movie Tickets, Birthday Cards, Stamps, Anniversary Certificates
  • Code, distribute and save Invoices
  • Email Net News information to Marketing
  • Returning Employment Verification faxes and phone calls
  • Sort and distribute mail daily
  • Assist with Benefits open enrollment, 5 Steps training and other company events
  • Direct and Answer questions regarding Human Resources
  • Assist Director of Human Resources and General Counsel with special projects as needed
  • Order new employee nameplates
  • Develop employee relations

 

Prerequisites (i.e., education, experience)

High School Diploma Required

Human Resources Experience Desired
