Official Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

RJ Young is closely monitoring developments related to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). While this is a rapidly-evolving situation, our priority remains to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and partners. 

We are emphasizing the importance of following the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for reducing the spread of COVID-19.

We are taking a number of actions to address this situation to ensure the health of our community including: 

Service Technicians

Customers who require service on equipment will be contacted to receive approval prior to an office visit. Our technicians have been instructed on appropriate COVID-19 precautions about the basic steps to reduce spread, including hand washing, and social distancing as referenced by the CDC. Also, as supplies are available, they will wipe down the equipment they work on at the end of their visit.

Events Postponed

Respecting the health and well-being of everyone associated with these events we have postponed and will reschedule at a later date. For those dates please reference our Eventbrite page

Residential Placements

We are here to help customers needing equipment (printer or multifunction printer) placed in their residence. Contact your sales specialist or call 800-347-1955 for assistance.

AV Solutions

Help Desk 

We encourage you to use our Help Desk to troubleshoot issues with your copiers, printers, and other hardware devices. We will attempt to resolve any issues via phone support before we need to send a technician on site. Any additional charges for Help Desk support will be evaluated at reasonable costs. Our agents are standing by to help you Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CDT.

Remote Training 

Virtual training may be available for customers needing assistance with equipment or new devices. 

RJ Young Staff 

To protect the health of our RJ Young family, many employees will be working from home until further notice. Just as we are meeting with our vendors via phone or virtual conference, our sales specialists are conducting meetings with customers the same way. If meetings do need to take place at a customer’s location, our specialists will call ahead of time for approval. Business travel (including domestic) has been largely eliminated, except for business-critical activities. Employees who become ill, or whose household members become ill, with COVID-19 symptoms have been asked to stay home.
